Why sia? Come to think of it, if the whole ntu just don study and anyhow do the exam papers, what will happen? The lecturer cannot possibly fail everyone. If not next year ntu rating sure go down. Moreover if really fail all, next sem will have double size lecture, double size tutorial and its gonna be chaos... its a win-win situation right? everyone no need study, lecturer no need mark, and everyone is happy.
But why until now there isn't such case yet? This is due to a group of people whom they think they are smarter than others, they put in effort, and therefore they should get higher marks. They are those people who say that they never study, "this time sure die already". But away from the eyes of yours, they are mugging their asses off... They are those whom you ask them a question they smile at you with a dumb look and said," oh man... I really don't know the answer. I haven study the subject yet." But actually up there inside their brain is already working out the answers. They are the people that tell you," relax don't worry... everything is gonna be alright. There's still time." when you are starting to panic. Yes life's a bitch sometime when there are such people walking on the face of the earth.
However, on the brighter side of things, I am glad to have friends that would lend me a shoulder when I am in need.... in need of answer for my astro quiz. Due to the overwhelming number of students taking the subject, the teacher has taken the pain to produce 4 sets of papers with different questions. Even some questions are similiar but the sly teacher has jumbled up the answer order... (wat an ass) As a result, sitting together with friends also cannot copy. Looking down at the paper, I realized that most of the questions I do not know... what to do? the answer is - ask friend by telling them the key words of the questions and options. But what if the whole paper I only know how to do 1/10 of it? the answer is - pass the paper to my friend and ask them do for you. After that, pass to another friend for double checking and do the questions that the first guy did not fill up. After we passed up our papers, my friend told me, "eh you know just now we help you do your paper, the stupid teacher was looking leh. and I pass you the paper you still talking to other people. You want to die ah?" +.=" Lucky I din know the teacher was watching. If not I would not have acted so 'natural'. Anyway, thanks to my friend, 'liverpool ming' (cos he wore the stupid liverpool jersey today) for helping me in the test.
For those people who thinks that they do not have the luxury of such friends, all is not lost! Cos by reading this, u know you have one ^^ And being a nice friend, I shall share with you some of life's little perks which I think will make your mood significantly better in shitty times, just like how they made mine better. When you are trying to understand a super dry topic and every cell in your body is trying their best to put up the strong resistant, do give in to them by taking a tea break. Its like 'bribing' them. After the break, they will give in more easily. Meal is very important too. Careful selection of food will give you satisfaction and inturn up the morale. For me personally, chicken brayni with curry vege or chicken foldoverer with green tea would make my day.
